I feel that this unit is one of the most important units as it provides information as to how to go about constructing lesson plans. A lesson plan becomes a new teachers best friend, if the teacher is teaching English for the first time. It provides all the detail of a lesson plan and what the teacher chooses to achieve at the end of the lesson. It gives you a clear idea of what is expected in each lesson and whether your overall plan was successfully achieved. It also clearly indicates where you fell short in your lesson plan that you can then follow up in your next lesson. Any problems, obstacles or shortcomings in conducting the lesson plan is jotted down and planned for in the next few lessons. A lesson plan is one of the best tools in trying to ensure that students are learning and progressing and also provides an aid to the teacher to identify where the teacher has fell short in conducting the lesson
