This lesson discussed the various teaching methods in an English classroom. I did not realize that there were so many methodologies to teaching English. Upon learning the ESA method, I believe it is the most useful method and will harbor the most learning for students. As someone who has not taught English as a second language, I will use the basic Engage, Study, Activate lesson at the beginning of my career. As I become more comfortable, I will try various lessons such as the \"Straight Arrow\" lesson; however, I am excited to experiment with various types of lessons, as long as they begin with \"Engage\" and end with \"Activate.\" One of the most important aspects I learned in this lesson is in teaching EFL, there is a difference between mistakes and errors. I appreciate the lesson addressing this difference and hope to be a teacher of EFL who harbors growth and learning in recognizing a mistake instead of an error.
