Very frustrated I am writing this overview for the third time due to internet connection problems. This unit covers 9 true modal auxiliary verbs will/would/shall/should/might/may/must/can and could.Semi-auxiliary verbs have to/have got to. They express feeling and attitude, add meaning to the main verb, give a degree of formality, It express ideas like-obligation possibility/probability/permission/prohibition/ability/ advice etc. Pictionary is a very good idea to teach modal auxiliary verbs. Learners guess what teacher draws on board using..might can /could etc. Passive voice is formed when we swap the object of a sentence with the subject part. Thus shifting the focus on the object. We do this when the agent (doer of the action) is unknown/we just don't want to say or it is unimportant. Form= verb 'be'+past participle. relative clause either defining( no commas and information is essential) non-defining (commas is critical)
