When it comes to speaking there are two different types of activities to improve a student?s speaking abilities, accuracy and fluency. Accuracy activities are focused on delivering correct language such exercises are typically controlled to guarantee an exact duplication of the language. While fluency exercises are focused on enabling the students to explore and be innovative with the language. With regards to writing there are four particular viewpoints students should deal with spelling, handwriting, layout, and punctuation. In my opinion the most important writing skill students should focus on is their spelling and punctuation because incorrect spelling and punctuation can be perceived as a sign that someone fails to understand the English language, when in reality they may have a great grasp on the language and may have made a simple error.
