This unit is a decent, but a rather brief summary of the conditionals. As for reported speed, to be honest, I found some new information for myself that I didn't know of before. I am talking about tense conversion. Maybe that is because I've never had to convert phrases. And I'm still kind of puzzled about the fact that we can report some things that were just said (like in the example, over the phone) in present tense. Unless it's an action that is still ongoing, like a question that hangs, I would normally convert it to past tense right away. E.g.: \"John said that he's sick\" even if he just said it, but \"John asks if you're ok, what should I tell him?\" Also, I used to separate reported speech and indirect questions, but usually I teach both topics together, which I think could be covered here as well. E.g.: \"Could you tell me where the Church is?\" - sentence structure after question word changes the same way as for reported speech.
