This Unit2 was about Teaching and Learning. It talked about the four major theories that exist when looking into learning and behavior from infancy to full maturation, but it focused mainly on maturation theory where it discussed some of the generalized character traits of the two age bands, that's 5-9 years olds and 9-13 years olds, such as their likes and dislikes, as well as their skills. I learned about the native[L1] language and second [L2] language acquisitions, where it talked about how we learn our native languages at home even before we start school and many others. This unit covers as well the area of Adopting an approach, here, I learned the best methodology for teaching each group, EP- engage and practice for 5 to 9 years and ESA method [Engage-Study -Activate] for 9 to 13 years of age. Again, I learned the different possible arrangements we can use to promote full class interaction and affects the learning environment positively.
