Teach English in Zhongchao Zhen - Qiandongnan Miaozu Dongzu Zizhi
I have learnt that there are five conditionals of grammar and each contain the clause 'if'. They are the; - zero conditional clause which refer to actions and facts that are irrefutable - first conditional which about a real situation in the future - second conditional which talks of a hypothetical situation at the present or in the future - third conditional which refers to a hypothetical past action and its hypothetical past consequence - mixed conditional which is a combination of the second and third conditional clauses There are several teaching ideas to reinforce the use of the conditionals which vary from split sentences to roles play and what would happen if...? Direct speech is about what was said at that particular time and speech denoting current tense is used but when reporting the verb tense is generally changed to past tense, as the action has already happened, and the pronouns change to suit the context. It is all time relative.
