This unit focuses on teaching equipment and aids which helps to make the lesson more interesting, effective and less dependent on text books. Some common resources found in classrooms and study centers include white/ blackboard, Interactive whiteboard (IWB), overhead projector (OHP), visual aids, worksheet and work cards, the list is long. This unit also highlights principles that a teacher would follow when working on the board which facilitates the learning of students, OHP is used as an alternative to the board and it has includes some advantages and disadvantages. This unit also examines many different types of visual aids which can be use in the classroom, but the most common provided are objects, pictures and photos. This unit has added a plus on my knowledge of teaching equipments and teaching Aids and how to use them such as OHP, visuals, worksheets, casset player recorded, video camara, computer, Dictionary, course book, Resource book.
