This unit contains information on teaching productive skills which include; Speaking and Writing. In my opinion this is the most challenging area in learning any language. Students will usually know much more than what they actually produce mainly because productive skills especially speaking need some thinking and brainstorming and most times during speaking there is little time to think. Therefore a student might have a good knowledge of the language but this might not necessarily be portrayed in their speech. This unit however provides various teaching techniques and tips which could help students develop their productive skills or rather, help teaches effectively teach these skills to the students. Various teaching techniques and methods are provided in the unit. The use of games in classrooms as an intentional teaching activity is also mentioned which I think will be very helpful to students as it'll make learning more relaxing and enjoyable.
