Unit 17 explains that there are many different teaching aids that can be used for lesson planning to make it interesting and stimulate dialog within the classroom. The board is important and used to teach the grammer of the language, this is a very traditional way of doing it. One can reproduce correct vocabulary and grammer from the students as well as correct irregularities that might arise within the language by using the board. The interactive white boards (IWBs) is very useful for lesson planning but can not always be relied on as you always have to test it prior to using it whilst always having a back-up plan to rely on. Worksheets are the best tool to use to test the grammer and language that the students have gained during the study phase of the lesson and thus being able to correct them. CDS,DVDs, etc. are all useful tools to use in the classroom in order to stimulate dialog, maintain interest and make for a fun and interesting activate phase.
