This unit contains an enormous amount of information that needs serious study and constant reviews. The simple parts of speech I think I already know are the types of nouns, adjectives, articles, and verbs. Although I still need more practices on the collective, countable and uncountable nouns, transitive, intrasitive and auxillary verbs. Prior to this unit, I have never knew about the five main types of adverbs which I think is important because it assists adjective in a special way to make a sentence more meaningful and very descriptive. I also learned about how confusing gerunds is used, but it is pretty much treated as a noun.. When it comes to prepositions and conjunctions, the unit explained that the two parts of speech usually connects a noun and pronoun due to the time and place. While conjunctions adds or pairs nounds, adjectives, adverbs, verbs and phrases. I feel that a teacher should be able to at the least relect on how they used words carefully.
