This unit went over the different types of conditionals, zero, first, second, third, and mixed. Conditionals are sentences the ask us 'if' or sometimes 'when'. Zero conditionals deal with facts, but the others deal with possibilities, regrets, and hypotheticals. I think teaching these might be a bit tricky, but some of the games look rather fun. I liked the game 'If I hadn't ___, I wouldn't be ___.' bingo game. The second half of the unit was devoted to reported speech. Taking a sentence we have heard, and reporting it to someone else. The video stated twice, that when reporting speech it is always acceptable to change the tense. However, we don't need to change anything when the information is common knowledge, like the earth is round. There was a domino game where some one has the original sentence and has to find the classmate with the changed sentence. I think this would be fun for young students. They get to hold something, more around the class, and have to find a match.
