An Overview. There are no set rules to planning a lesson but you do need to set yourself as a teacher a plan as to what you expect to achieve for your students during their lesson. There are great ways to set a lesson plan out and this helps you to have something to refer to. Lesson planning has also given me the insight on how to keep a working document and this also acts as a record. Excellent in case you are away and another teacher is then able to step in and then take the class. I have also learnt on how to set out and keep a record to monitor the quality of my lessons and what ways I can improve them. This helps me to develop to be the best that I can be as a teacher.My personal aims and how a teacher needs to be flexible, to have goals and provide variety and balance. Also how to anticipate any problems that may arise and how to provide solutions for the students. Interactions for the students with the teacher and with other students is important and keeping things flowing by having variety.
