Teach English in Duping Zhen - Qiandongnan Miaozu Dongzu Zizhi
When teaching English, we might teach the following: vocabulary, grammar and functions. In order to select appropriate vocabulary the teacher should take into consideration the appropriacy to the student and task, frequency and the coverage, and teachability. The students are supposed to know the meaning of a vocabulary item, its pronunciation, spelling, grammatical function and usage. Similarly, when we talk about grammar, students need to know the meaning of a particular grammatical structure, its forms and patterns, spoken and written forms and its usage. Teachers should be careful and creative when choosing the vocabulary, grammar or language function- activities for each stage of the lesson. Some activities are more suitable for the ?study? phase whereas some for the ?activate? stage. I will definitely try to apply some of the activities listed in the Unit. I think that it is important to combine them in order to avoid their repetitive usage and boredom among students (predictable classes).
