In this unit we have learned the future tenses: future simple, future continues, future perfect, future perfect continues and going to future. Future simple is used for stating fact, certainties, predictions, promises, spontaneous decisions, assumptions, threats. Future continuous formed by: subject + will + be + verb + ing (present participle). It is used to say that something will be in progress at a particular moment in the future, to guess what might be happening, for polite enquiries referring to other people?s plans with no influence, referring to future events that are decided. Future perfect is built (will + have + past participle), it is used to say that something will have been done, completed or achieved by a certain time in the future. Future perfect continuous is built (will + have + been + verb + ing) we use this tense to say how long something will have continued by a certain time. Going to future tense looks very similar to the present continues, the difference is that going to structure is always followed by a verb.
