This unit was about teaching and equipment aids. I learned some important information in this Unit. One thing that I learned was that when using the white board you shouldn't use capital letters. Studies have found that Capitalized text is more difficult to read. As a teacher I felt that Capitalizing words would highlight importance and be easier for the student to understand. In the future I will no longer write words in only Capital letters. Another thing I learned is when using the board to highlight important information we should use different colors, circle, and underline that language. The Unit provided excellent websites for different topics such as media, literature, and poetry. I have been thinking about doing an literature, and poetry lesson for my more advanced learners, and the websites were really good. I'm also interested in doing an lesson about the media. So I will do a comparison of the media in different countries. I feel like this was a very helpful unit, and I have more knowledge about using equipment and teaching aids now.
