Teaching students that want to be in the class is partly on the teachers shoulders. To motivate a student that is forced to be in a class is all teachers nightmare. Teachers need the skills to involve all students no matter what level of training. The trick is to keep all students, slow and fast learners on track and interested.Irregular past tense verbs will be the hardest to teach since there are a lot of them and there really is no reason why the words break established rules of the language. I really like the detective game suggested in this unit since it opens the doors for a lot past tense words to be used as well as story telling of past events.
