Modal auxiliary verbs and the passive voice as well as phrasal verbs, relative clauses are complicated concepts for the students. The modal auxiliary verbs have some delicatedly different meaning. The phrasal verbs are too many to remember. The best way is to keep learning them by heart. Try hard not to be afraid of those verbs.It's good to show advantages and disadvantages of using course books. Sometimes, we think that a sample already done is perfect because it has been approuved, but there's sometimes some forgotten points that we should consider more. Authentic materials are still my favorites because we can adapt them to anyone, anything we want.
