It gives an overview of the receptive skills which are: reading and listening. I have learned the different types of specialist skills and ways to approach difficult language. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning the basic keys to understanding to successful receptive skills.From this unit, I have learned very well how to use course books and lesson materials to teach the students. So, I know the advantages of using course books in the class and disadvantages also. And I feel I got a lot of knowledge to teach the students by using course books.This module has given me an insight of different stages of a sentence.i have a sound knowledge of how to engage learner into a topic. It has given me an insight about corrections. What and when to correct the learners and at the same it is important to praise their efforts.
