From this unit, I have learnt the importance of phonics and phonic symbols, however, it is not necessary to teach individuals symbols. I have learnt the intonation patterns which are used in English and I am confidence that I will be able to teach this to other individuals.This unit discussed the parts of speech. It was a good refresher. It discussed all parts from nouns to adjectives to verbs and even gerunds. It broke down each part- comparative vs superlative adjective- and gave proper examples of each one. This was a very beneficial unit.This unit taught me some more the use of some modal verbs and some of the ways they can be used to change the meaning as to mena i am uncertain for a example . In the last pages of the unit of the unit ,I was taught the use of phrasal verbs and some of them and their use.
