This unit taught me about the various forms of the past tense. And the way a word changes when used in the past. There were also a few ideas as to how you could teach this to a non-English speaking person.It also gave me some examples as to where students could make mistakes.The section was interesting and fairly straight forward. It reiterated what I had already seen in earlier sections. Also gave the course some sort of continuity. I would have however liked to have a video of the same. I like the video as they give clarity to what I have read.I think that section is fairly straight forward. However am muddy and still trying to figure out where the straight arrow and patchwork kind of teaching comes in for various lessons. The use of games at an activity level is good as it makes the class lively and students learn
