Pronunciation is part of teaching. The stress on words can alter meaning so needs to be discussed in lessons. Stress is on syllables not individual vowels or consonants. Native speakers tend to link sounds and words. This is part of learning the native language and sounding natural.I felt that some of the information in this unit was not in the correct place. There was fairly introductory material about the Activate Stage that was placed towards the end, which made it difficult to organise the information and collate it into notes. Other than that it was good.i think this chapter was the most difficult for me. i learned about articulation and where the tongue should be when making certain sounds and about the phonetic alphabet it was very difficult to read all in all i think it would be a very important lesson for students to learn about
