In this unit i learned that there are 4 basic skills in any language and how each sills helps the individual. i learned that there 2 reason for reading and listening( for a purpose and for entertainment). But i found how each receptive played a part in helping one use the language .This unit was my English teaching masterpiece. It taught me formation of sounds. I did not know much about phonology and phonetics and have learnt so much that I am ready to teach pronunciation. It will be a breeze because I understand it better. I never taught pronunciation at all.This unit is another one about proper grammar and language usage. It goes over some things with tenses that can be quite tricky to native English speakers. It surely will be tough for second language English speakers. It is a unit where I must be sure to know the material precisely.
