Lesson 13, Teaching pronunciation and phonology, was an interesting lesson on how to teach foreigners how to correctly pronounce sounds. A phonetic alphabet was introduced. Each letter in this alphabet only makes one sound. This is helpful because one sound can be made with multiple letter combinations in the English language.This section stated the obvious with many things but was somewhat helpful. It made me realize the many different techniques one can use while using aids in the classroom for effective learning. It was very insightful although some questions I believe could have 1 or 2 correct answers. All in all it was insightful and interesting.
