This unit focused on writing and talking. It talked about what reasons people have for communicating and the difference between accuracy and fluency. Accuracy is used to produce correct language while fluency is for students to be creative with the language. This also talked about different activities based on fluency or accuracy.This unit was so much harder than I thought it would be. I think that trying to teach this to children could be very difficult and as a native English speaker it is really difficult because we so commonly use letter drops and such. After doing this unit, I am now very conscious of the sounds I make and can feel my vocal cords now.
