I've learned a lot again from this unit. I am gradually mastering the the ESA structure. Sometimes in my class, when I am already running out of time to finish the lesson plan for the week, I tend to just go directly to STUDY and ignoring the ENGAGE and ACTIVATE part. This unit taught me the importance of following this structure.I didnt know till now that the simple present and present continuous tenses are also future tenses. I believe many teachers of English do not also know this and so do not include these two forms when treating the future tense. This unit has provided me with knowledge to adequately tackle the future tense in my subsequent lessons.
