This unit was a good refresher on the varieties of usages for the present tense. It provides good explanations and activities for these options. The present form is a foundation for tenses and is important to explain thoroughly to ESL students. It is also one of the most basic lessons that will be taught in English grammar classes.This unit broke down each part of speech in detail. A sentence typically consists of a noun, verb, subject, and articles. Adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, and conjunctions can build onto the sentence. I learned the formal classifications of parts of speech. I also learned the difference between a transitive and intransitive verb.
