This unit introduces the subject of the English tense system. It allows us to have a look at the structures and usages of the present tenses (Present Simple, Present Continuous, Present Perfect, Present Perfect Continuous). I have learnt from this unit some activity ideas for presenting and practicing the subject in the classroom.I learned about the criteria we should consider when selecting vocabulary to teach. I also learned about what the students need to know about the new vocabulary items being taught. I learned what about what students need to know about grammatical structures. I learned how to plan a vocabulary lesson using different ESA structures.
