This unit gives us a brief introduction into the system of Past Tenses. There are four aspects of Past Tense in English which are Past Simple, Continuous, Perfect and Perfect Continuous. We studies different teaching ideas used for activate stage of the lessons for better grammar practice and correct usage of past forms by students.This Unit presents the two receptive skills of the Language :Reading and Listening. It studies the common problems can be faced while teaching these two skills such as the language , topics and Tasks ,then it provides the possible solutions. Then , It provides examples of lesson plans for teaching the Listening and Reading skills.
