Unit 6 tells us all about past tenses - past simple, past continuous, past perfect, past perfect continuous, and how they are formed. It goes into detail about the usages of each tense, sample sentences, common student's mistakes using the individual past tense, and some examples of teaching ideas for the active phase of the lesson.This was a very informative unit. In the unit I learned about the two receptive skills, namely listening and reading. The unit also focused on the differences between the skills of skimming and scanning for details, and their uses. The lesson also gave details about how a teacher should select and teach different text and dialogues.
