This unit made it very clear and concise to understand the meaning of conditionals and reported speeches. For example, direct speech means that we need to report the speech by repeating the actual word of a speaker to someone who will ask us about it. Conditionals refer to imaginary and possible situations that can or cannot happen.Unit 16 is about conditionals and indirrect speech. These two thing are the cause of nightmares of the most students who study English as their second language, but with the right approach can be proved to be fairly easy and logical. This unit refreshed my knowledge about these two aspects of English and made some hints on teaching.
