This unit helped me understand the differences between the future, past and present tenses. I learnt about the various different forms of tenses, and how complicated this can be for students learning English language. I learnt about the contexts in which these tenses should be used, and the ways in which these tenses are constructed.This unit focuses on solutions to common problems in teaching english as a second language. I imagine that the most common problem I will face is students who are reticent to participate. The solution for that is to be engaging and make sure that all students feel involved in the lesson and motivated to speak and contribute to class.
