This unit walks us through the importance of reported speech. Reported speech is used to communicate what someone else said, think or believe, but without using the exact words. Is usually used to talk about the past, so we normally change the tense of the words spoken. This unit helped clarify many of the rules I had long forgotten.In this unit I was taught about the different present tenses and how to tell what the sentence is, how to make a sentence based on the structure. In this sentence, along with the forms, I have also learned about the usages, what the common mistakes and errors are for each tense and how to use them in activation stages while teaching.
