The following is an overview and what I have learnt from this unit. One of the most important resources for achieving a classroom management is me as a teacher. There are a number of things I can use to help with the management , these are: Eye contact which holds attention .The voice that changes naturally according to circumstance. And the gestures that help reduce the teacher talk time. I have also learnt the importance of grouping students and how to manage each group. Students can be grouped as a whole class, individuals or in pairs. Using student names is an important aspect as it helps in organizing the class, acknowledging students , get the attention of the students and asking questions. I have learnt that its important to use the students name at the end of the question so as to make it not obvious . Classroom arrangement depends on so many factors and how they affect students. These factors include; age ,physical space, personality and many more. I have also learnt some the things teachers do to maintain discipline within the classroom. Some of these things include; being fair to all students, being punctual , being well prepared and many more.
