Course books and lesson materials are priceless resources for all teachers in order to design an appealing lesson for the students and from which they can benefit a lot. On the one hand, Materials can either be authentic or created. the authentic ones are much interesting and help make the learners confident about the language content, however they do not work for beginner learners. Created materials are but not limited to crosswords, puzzles, word plays, flash cards and more.. and these material can be adapted according to the level of learners, teaching aim and topics taught. On the other hand, course books can either be students book, cassettes, teachers book, learner dictionaries and vocabulary flash cards. These resources are beneficial for each one is designed, tried, tested and graded for particular level as they offers good insights for inexperienced teachers, however they do not interest all the learners and can also make teachers lazy to look for other resources. To conclude, all of these resources have their pros and cons and a good teacher is the one who can make a balance between all of them and choose and adapt them to the needs of his or her learners.
