This unit explains the purpose of lesson planning and different techniques to create lesson plans. I learned details of what should be included in a lesson plan: student learning objectives, personal teaching goals, language point, teaching aids, timing, etc. The sample lesson plans and activities provide insight into the flow of a traditional Engage Study Activate lesson, providing ideas for structure and timing. The diversity among activities in the lesson plan was interesting to see, and something that I think will keep students engaged. I like how the vocabulary and grammar structure aspects were intertwined in the overall lesson plan.
