Unit 18 concludes the grammar lessons for the course. In it we examined modal auxiliary verbs, the passive voice, relative clauses, and phrasal verbs. I will definitely check out some of the recommended reading listed in the introductory unit to better understand the material. I found the charts for modal auxiliary verbs and the passive voice to be extremely helpful in preparing for the test in this unit, and I imagine such charts would be quite beneficial for students when tackling this particular set of grammar skills. However, I'm a little afraid of phrasal verbs and will need to dedicate extra time to convey their usages to my students.
