Teach English in LanfAng Zhen - Meizhou Shi

This un?t was so helpful for me who doesnt have any experience about teaching. Especially thank you about touching on age differences also detailed explaining about ''culture and first language'', ''what makes a good teacher''.Those chapters are really helpful. I wish there was also opposite chapters about teachers like '' what makes a failed teacher'' And about the role of the teacher;if i try to explain them shortly they will be like these, Manager or controller: teachers should be effectively in charge of class which means even more dominate. Organizer:Teachers should be responsible of organazing groups and activities. Assessor:the teacher is fair and consistent with all the student as well as being very sensetive. Prompter: in some situations teachers can choose to be a prompter who prefers to gently encourage to the students along Participant:Theachers should work together with students and not to dominate to activity or focus attention upon him/her. Resource or Facilitator:teacher should be available in case the students require any assistance or guidance but have to resist to temptation to spoon-feed Model: teachers re source and fount of all knowladge on English grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Observer or Monitor:teachers always want to know about what is going on in the class. after that they can have more informations and be a better assessor and prompter. And i have also learnt about learners; ''what makes a good learner'' also includes, age, learning experience, motivation, nervousness, language awareness, behaviour problems, life experience, culture and first language.
