THIS LAST LESSON FOCUSES ON SEVERAL PROBLEMS THAT A TEACHER MAY HAVE WHILE TEACHING. THE FIRST DAY IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ESTABLISH A RAPPORT AMONG STUDENTS (IN CASE OF A NEW GROUP) AND BETWEEN THE TEACHER AND AL THE STUDENTS (IF WE REFER TO PRE-EXISTED GROUP). ANYWAY, THE MISSION OF THE FIRST DAY IS TO BUILD A FAMILIAR ATMOSPHERE WITH THE CLASS AND FIND OUT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE ABOUT STUDENTS IN ORDER TO ARRANGE FUTURE LESSONS IN THE BEST AND EFFECTIVE WAY. IT WOULD HAPPEN THAT THE TEACHER MEET A CLASS WITH A DIFFERENT ENGLISH LEVEL. TO FACE A SITUATION LIKE THAT, THE TEACHER SHOULD SPLIT THE CLASS IN TWO GROUPS AND GIVES DIFFERENT MATERIALS, OR GIVES SAME MATERIALS BUT WITH DIFFERENT TASKS. IN DESPITE OF ANY SOLUTION, THE TEACHER HAS TO WORK EQUALLY WITH ALL THE STUDENTS. OTHER KIND OF PROBLEMS COULD ARISE WITH LARGE CLASSES. IN THIS SITUATION THE BEST THING TO DO IS TO ASSIGN WORKSHEET,CHORAL REPETITION, FORM PEER OF WORK, NAME A GROUP LEADER. IF YOU TEACH IN A MONOLINGUAL CLASS IT WOULD BE HARDER KEEP THE STUDENTS SPEAKING IN ENGLISH THAN IN MULTILINGUAL ONE. BUT THE TEACHER HAS TO ELICIT ENGLISH COMMUNICATION ALWAYS. SO IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THE STUDENTS HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO NECESSARY LANGUAGE TO FACE THE ACTIVITIES, THE TEACHER'S INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE AND, OF COURSE, THE TEACHER DOESN'T RESPOND TO ANY NATIVE TONGUE QUESTION OF THE STUDENTS. SOME STUDENTS WOULD BE RELUCTANT TO TAKE ACTIVELY PART OF CLASS ACTIVITIES, ABOVE ALL SPEAKING ONES. IN THIS CASE THE TEACHER SHOULD FIND THE BEST COMFORTABLE WAYS TO LET RELUCTANT STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE. SOME SOLUTION ARE ROLE PLAY, PAIR WORK AND TAPE RECORDER.THE MISSION IS TO HELP THIS KIND OF STUDENTS TO FEEL MORE CONFIDENT AS POSSIBLE. ALSO LISTENING ACTIVITIES USED TO BE VERY HARD FOR MANY STUDENTS, BUT PRE-TEACH VOCABULARY CAN MAKE EASIER THE STUDENTS LIFE.
