What I learnt from unit 19 is about teaching special group. This unit are explaining of how to teach students base on the type of classes. There are five classifications: beginners, individual (one to one), young learners, business English and multilingual vs monolingual classes. The first type of class is the teaching beginners, it could be range from any ages and the term of ?beginner? has a meaning of basic literacy skill of English language. In order to teaching beginners students, teacher will require special skills, patient and psychology. Because the teacher need to handle all the students? situation and treat them in a positive environment. The second classification is to teaching individual students, it describe as a one-to-one lesson or tutoring lesson that should be doing it after school. The other type of class is teaching business English, it involved an increasing amount of English for specific purpose to the professional people (employee, owner, marketing, etc.). For example: how to teach marketing language that will improve the selling or teaching a pharmacist to give better understanding of use of the drugs to the customers Based from the materials of the type of classes, the most interesting job that I would like to do as a teacher is by teaching beginners as a tutoring job in a monolingual classes (China, Thailand or Indonesia). As a first time job as a teacher, first I should gain an experience in teaching students by give them a tutoring lesson (either one-to-one or a group) like in the company: English First or World Street English. As I gaining my learning experience and build confidence, I should advance my skill to teach in the middle school or Business English. After reading all the material units, I feel that my passion of teaching students has built up. All the materials will influence and help my preparation of teaching students in many years to come.
