The importance of this unit is to understand possible dynamic in a classroom setting so that when the real teaching practice occurs, teachers could be somewhat prepared to handle different situations. It also helps new teachers to prepare a class in a more effective way in terms of conveying the actual teaching as well as helping students to learn.In this Unit i learnt about Lesson planning and how it should be carefully planned. This is more than just a lesson plan this will be an aid, a working document and something to keep record of what you as a teacher have taught. Also if the teacher was ever to be absent then the lesson plan is there for the substitute teacher to execute accordingly.
