Phonetic script is difficult, even for the seasoned English speaker. I don't see how it could possibly make speakers of other languages understand our pronunciation techniques better, as it just confuses things like spelling, spacing and writing. However, I did learn some good tips for explaining pronunciation and giving instruction on how to do so.In this unit, I revised the different seating methods that can be used in the classroom and how to structure the work activity based on different factors. Age, level of English, what type of school, size of classroom and personality of the individual all play a role in the behaviour of the students and what method will be most effective in teaching.
