Unit 16 on conditionals and reported speech was a particularly difficult lesson for me. It discussed the zero, first, second, third, and mixed conditionals and gave teaching ideas for each. I can see where this could be particularly difficult for students. Reported speech was not any easier. Spoken English is very different from written English.Unit 12 gives the reader a brief lesson on the productive skills writing and speaking. The unit covers what these skills are, lists a few accuracy and fluency activities for their improvement, and gives an example ESA lesson. At the end of the unit are listed resources which the reader can access in order to find games that can be added to a lesson.
