Reading and listening come easily to some whereas speaking and writing come harder. When I was learning Spanish I remember that reading and listening were the easy parts, but when it came to speaking and writing it was more difficult. However all four of these skills go hand in hand. You can't have reading and listening without speaking and writing.I greatly enjoyed learning about the different methods of teaching English. As a fifth grade teacher, I often use different activities and methods laid out in the Engage, Study, and Activate method. I will definitely use these different activities in my lessons. I had forgotten about the box game; I plan to play that game with my students this week.
