This unit focused on the use of past tenses. I learned that the difficult aspect of past simple tenses is irregular verbs. I also learned the correct form for the construction of past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous tenses. What I became aware of the most is the correct usage of the specific tenses as well as when to apply them.The future is one of the more complicated tenses. We can identity seven common uses for the future tense, they are: Future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous and going to the future. Present simple and present continuous can also be used in a future context, so they must be considered when teaching the future tense.
