Once again this lesson was much needed. There are so many different techniques to teaching students. As i read this lesson i reflected by on when I was learning a different language. I tried to remember what technique my teacher used on us. Sadly, what I can remember was she only used one or two techniques. Though effective, not much of a variety.Reading this unit helped me to understand the different kinds of materials and their advantages and disadvantages. Knowing the disadvantages before helps to overcome the difficulties without facing them or at least helps to take some measures to avoid them. I could also learn the types of book resources and how internet is helpful to choose materials.
