I liked this unit because it clarified many areas of a difficult concept in the English language - tense. Not only is tense difficult, but describing how to choose a tense based on the tense of the statement upon which one is reporting is quite mind boggling. This unit will certainly assist me in presenting this information digestible for my students.Pronunciation is probably the most neglected aspect of teaching. A good teacher integrates teaching pronunciation into his lessons. The meaning of simple words can change depending on the intonation of the speaker. THe normal pattern of intonation is rise/fall, what the speaker wants to express surprise of disbelief - the fall-rise intonation is used.
