It was a very interesting unit to read. It explains why the lesson planning is important, specially for new, inexperienced teachers. The lesson plans helps us keep track of what we have been teaching and write down what are the learners objectives. The plans should not be too detailed and rigid, as we might want to change our lesson a bit, be flexible.In this unit I learned advantages and disadvantages of teaching adults, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of one to one versus group teaching. I also learned how to mitigate the disadvantages while teaching. The course was also a helpful review of the different methods of teaching a language that was covered in the basic certification course.
