This unit went over a variety of different exams and their purpose. An exam is a tool that can be used for many different reasons though mostly gathering data i its prime purpose. in my personal opinion i feel that too many exams can have an adverse affect on a curriculum but the same goes with too few as well due to a lack of tension.Phonetics has always been out of my comprehension it seems, but after this unit I have learned how to pronounce each symbol. This has helped me to study my own second language. As a native English speaker, it is sometimes hard to figure out where the emphasis and stress goes in intonation of a sentence because it comes naturally to us.
