This unit cover the basics of the present tense. It introduced the Present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous tenses. A number of situational usage tips along with examples were listed. I learnt the basic structure of the tenses and how they are formed and ways in which they are used correctly.The use of complex structures in a foreign language is undoubtedly a point which creates a lot of uncertainty to the learners. However, being necessary in many cases both in our everyday life and in more special occassions, these grammar structures should be correctly presented in class, so that learners can make the most out of them.
